Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Practice
Modern orthopedics deals with the joints, muscles, tendons, and the body’s movement system as a whole – few fields of medicine are shaped as much by long-term, chronic conditions as this one. But we also treat what comes on suddenly: injuries, accidents, and acute pain.
Beyond standard statutory care, we offer additional individual health services where we believe they offer real, effective benefit to our patients.
Dr. Alex Osei (MD)
Alex Osei (MD) is a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery. He studied medicine at Charité in Berlin, where he completed his third state examination in 1998. His medical career has included hospital appointments in Ochtrup, Dortmund, Nordhorn and Hamm.
After working in a surgical and orthopaedic practice in Ahlen from 2017 to 2018, he established his orthopaedic practice in Beckum in July 2018.

Our Approach

We combine conservative and surgical treatment options, deciding together with each patient which path fits their situation – many procedures that once meant a lengthy hospital stay can now be done on an outpatient basis, while more complex surgery under general anesthesia is still handled with a full inpatient stay when needed.
